To Create a ZIP Package of the Current Drawing and Its Dependent Files, and Store It in ProjectWise

  1. Select File > eTransmit.
  2. Do one of the following:

    If the Save Document As dialog opens, select the folder to store the new ZIP document in, enter the name, description, and file name of the new ZIP document, then click Save.

    or

    If the Advanced Document Creation Wizard opens, click Next. When the Select Target Folder page opens, select the folder to store the new ZIP document in and click Next. On the Document Properties page, enter the name, description, file name, and version of the new document and click Next. On the Create a Document page, click Next. On the final page, click Finish.

    or

    If the Select a Wizard dialog opens, select either No Wizard or Advanced Wizard and click OK, then follow the instructions in the appropriate option above. (If you select No Wizard, the Save Document As dialog opens. If you select Advanced Wizard, the Advanced Document Creation Wizard opens.)

  3. In the Create Transmittal dialog that opens, the current document is automatically added to the ZIP file. If you click OK now, then just the current document and its dependent files will be included in the ZIP document. If necessary, you can add more DWG documents to the ZIP file, or even remove the current document to the ZIP file. When finished in the Create Transmittal dialog, click OK.

    The new ZIP document is saved to the selected ProjectWise folder.

    Tip: To temporarily disable integration with this feature, at the command line, enter DMSSET, then enter ETRANSMITMODE, then enter a value of 0. To re-enable integration with this feature, set the value of the ETRANSMITMODE variable back to its default value of 1.
